Know Your Company is a software tool that helps CEOs overcome growing pains and get to know their employees better.
Last winter we worked with Know Your Company to redesign their marketing site. We went in with a few specific goals in mind:
The primary goal was to increase sales by increasing the number of quality sign ups on the marketing site. After a series of customer interviews, the big question they kept hearing was "Will this work for me?". Know Your Company's customers are CEOs of small to medium sized businesses. As these CEOs were evaluating the product they were asking questions like "Will my employees like it?", "What are the tangible benefits?", and "How much of my employees' time will it take up?".
In an effort to address those questions, our main focus was on highlighting the employee perspective. The old site focused more on what CEOs thought of the product. By highlighting the employee perspective, our hypothesis was that CEOs would feel more comfortable introducing it to their teams. Secondarily, we aimed to make conversion easier, and to further establish the product's credibility through research results and customer success stories.
In the first month after launch, Know Your Company saw a 57% increase in the number of trial signups for the product and a 14% bump in quality leads. We designed and built each page of the marketing site. All the illustrations were done by their CEO, Claire Lew.
